Grammy Awards are presented annually in the US by the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences. The 2021 Grammy Awards took place on March 14 where celebrities gathered looking their best to celebrate a night full of music. But here we are not limited to Grammy 2021 but outfits of all time.
1. Megan Thee Stallion
The first time Grammy nominee steps out in a show stopper outfit wearing a strapless neon orange Dolce & Gabbana gown belted at the waist featuring a thigh-high slit with a capacious bow at the back. To add more drama and glamour to the outfit, she wore a diamond necklace, studs, and bracelets and completed the look with a pair of orange heels.
“It’s my first time at the Grammy’s and I just really wanted to pop. I just wanted to look like a Grammy”, Megan said.
2. Dua Lipa
Dua Lipa was nominated for six Grammys and was both an attendee and a performer at the event. Her outfit reflected two things: pink and sparkles. She wore a custom Versace dress and looked like a butterfly. She was sparkles head-to-toe and the gown formed the shape of a butterfly with side cutouts and a thigh-high slit.
3. Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift won Album of the year for her lockdown album Folklore and she also made history by becoming the first female artist ever to win Album of the year three times. Her outfit was a total fashion fairytale just like her album. She chose an ethereal long-sleeved mini dress covered in different types of flowers and donned the gorgeous outfit with baby pink heels. Her performance was ‘ultra-romantic’ for the songs, “Cardigan”, “August” and “Willow”.
4. Harry Styles
Harry Styles, ‘fashion risk-taker’ known for donning a ball gown on the US Vogue cover pulled off “Clueless” inspired look wearing a plaid blazer, matching face mask but his feather boa totally stole the show. He’s already known for stirring gender-based fashion. He likes to experiment with clothes.
5. Cardi B
Cardi B, one of the finest rappers, and when it comes to style, she brings her A1 fashion game. Latex body-con, princess ball gowns, couture, and slick suiting, she slays in everything. At the Grammys, she wears a sexy metal ‘Gladiator’ bra with shoulder and knee pads and pulls off a rose gold edgy pixie hairstyle.
Beyoncé has become the most celebrated woman in Grammy history. She has won 28 Grammys. H.E.R won song of the year. She decided to go all-black but her gloves and massive drop earrings were a highlight. She completed the look with Jimmy Choo platforms. Both Beyoncé and Taylor Swift were the most decorated women at the Grammys with their exceptional wins. Beyoncé also sends Taylor Swift flowers to celebrate Grammys 2021 win.
7. Doja Cat
“I like something that’s out there”, the singer and rapper said in an interview. To talk about her fashion sense, she has been very toned down and did not go for a bold look but at the Grammys 2021, she nailed it with a ‘motorcycle jacket’ that’s fitted with a lime green feathered skirt and her hair styled in a mullet. All in all, we dig the look.
Lizzo wore a strapless green dress by Balmain and a necklace, bracelets and statement earrings from Bulgari. She is all about body positivity and carried her outfit with great confidence. A stunner who probably was the best dressed. Sadly, she did not perform but was only an attendance. Not to forget, she was the most nominated artist at the 2020 Grammys.
BTS, the ultimate style icons, they wore soft pastel shade suits by Louis Vuitton and looked stunning in special brown and black outfits. They were nominated for the first time at Grammys for their English track “Dynamite”. They also performed and it took us back to a classic BTS concert.
10. Phoebe Bridgers
Phoebe Bridgers marked her first red carpet appearance at Grammys in a skeleton suit which was a Gothic aesthetic and had a black & white color palette. She walked the red carpet with her brother Jackson. To be very honest, her outfit was one of a kind and the spookiest.
