NBA stands for the National Basketball Association, which is a professional basketball league. The league was founded way back in 1946 and has been a major hit ever since. Additionally, he has competed for ten NBA finals and won four NBA championships, four NBA Most Valuable Player Awards, four Finals MVP Awards, and two Olympic gold medals.
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has played about 20 seasons in the National Basketball Association for teams, the Milwaukee Bucks and the Los Angeles Lakers. While his career was at its peak, he set a record of being NBA”s Most Valuable Player for six-times, a record 19-time NBA All-Star, and 11-time NBA All-Defensive Team member. He established himself as one of the league’s top scorers with his trademark “skyhook” shot.
4. Bill Russell
Bill Russell played for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 1956 to 1969. He has won several titles, prime among those is a 12-time All-Star, 11-NBA championship, five-time NBA Most Valuable Player in his 13-year career. He is known for his shot-blocking, man-to-man defense, and his rebounding abilities. He also has done some notable work on the court and in the Civil Rights Movement for which, he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
5. Magic Johnson
In fifth place is Magic Johnson, who is the former president, of basketball operations of the Los Angeles Lakers. He is referred, as the best point guard of all time and one of the greatest players in NBA history. He has played for the Lakers for 13 seasons that earned him three NBA MVP Awards, nine NBA Finals appearances, and twelve All-Star games. Furthermore, Johnson was a part of the 1992 United States men’s Olympic basketball team, which won him an Olympic medal in the year, 1922.
6. Wilt Chamberlain
Wilt Chamberlain was one of the greatest center players in NBA history. He played for several teams in the NBA namely, Philadelphia/San Francisco Warriors, the Philadelphia 76ers, and the Los Angeles Lakers. He is the only player, to ever score 100 points in a single NBA game. His other achievements include winning two NBA championships, earning four regular-season Most Valuable Player awards, and the Rookie of the Year award.

9. Kobe Bryant

10. Shaquille O’Neal
